Zach Stewart was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Cooper High School in 2007 and then went on to earn a football scholarship at Abilene Christian University and finished at Hardin-Simmons University. Since college, Zach has had a couple of stops in Midland and Oklahoma City working in Sales in the Oil and Gas industry but has been back in Abilene since 2020 working as a licensed Property Tax Consultant at DMS & Company.

Zach has ties deeply rooted in Abilene as his father is part owner of Betty Rose’s Little Brisket and his mother has been teaching in AISD for 25 years. Zach has a strong passion for the Abilene Community, serving as Co-Founder and President of Abilene Turkey Drive, Inc., board member for Abilene Center Stage, and volunteering with the Abilene Freedom Foundation as well as the Abilene Military Affairs – World’s Largest BBQ.

In his free time, he enjoys hunting, live music, cooking, spending time with his nieces and nephew, Kynadee, Havyn, Addisyn, and TJ, and playing with his two dogs, Rip and Lucky!
