Born and raised in Garland, TX, Samantha found her way to West Texas in 2006 to attend Hardin-Simmons University. After graduating in 2010 with her BBA in Marketing, she started her career in higher education at Abilene Christian University, nurse recruiting at ARMC, and finally found her home at First Financial Bank as a Regional Marketing Director.

Samantha is an active member of our community, serving on the Board of Directors for Noah Project, Taylor County Expo, Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health, and various committees through the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. Samantha is a proud member of the Abilene Young Professionals.

She is married to her Abilenian husband, Wade Baker. They have a one year old son, Cole, and two labs, Beau & Winnie. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and attending sports games. Hook ‘Em!
