Serving as Founder and President of the Abilene Back the Badge Foundation since 2017, Joy Ellinger has called Abilene her home since 1984. After graduating from Abilene Christian University, Joy married Steve Ellinger. After a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, Joy retired from Johnson & Johnson in December 2021. Now she enjoys spending time with Steve, their sons Logan and Lex, daughter in law Taylor and grandkids Kinley and Landry.
